Job Overview
We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Tilers for full-time, permanent positions across South London and various surrounding locations. This role involves all aspects of roof tiling, including installation, maintenance, and repair work on both commercial and residential properties.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair various types of roof tiling systems
- Remove old or damaged tiles and prepare roof surfaces for new installations
- Lay clay, concrete, and other types of roof tiles according to plans and specifications
- Identify and repair leaks or defects in existing tiling systems
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow all relevant safety procedures and site regulations
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Ensure work meets required standards and is completed on time
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a roof tiler or in a similar roofing role
- Strong knowledge of tiling materials and installation techniques
- Ability to work from plans and technical drawings
- Comfortable working at height and in outdoor environments
- Good physical condition and attention to detail
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in Roofing/Tiling is preferred but not essential
Location & Travel
- Work is primarily based in South London, with travel to other project sites as needed
- Candidates must be flexible regarding location and working hours
Compensation
- Salary: £45,000 per annum
- Additional overtime and weekend work may be available
